The soap came in a package and a plastic wrap:

I ordered it as unscented, so it is just regular glycerin soap in a crystal form. It's good for sensitive skin.
I placed my order on 4/25/15, and it was delivered on 5/6/2016. It was shipped out the first week of May, which is within their expected turn around time in the shop's policy.
I think it is a great gift that is under $15.
